Statute of the reduced fee or free admission applied at permanent and temporary exhibition of the National Maritime Museum in Gdańsk

1. Reduced fee for the entrance to the branches of the National Maritime Museum in Gdańsk is applied for:
  1. school, university and postgraduate students with citizenship of the European Union member states, the Swiss Confederation or the European Free Trade Association member states – parties of the Agreement on the European Economic Area;
  2. seniors over 65 years of age, pensioners, disability pensioners as well as disabled persons ac-companied by supervisors, with citizenship of the European Union member states, the Swiss Confederation or the European Free Trade Association member states – parties of the Agreement on the European Economic Area;
  3. teachers employed at schools operating in European Union member states, the Swiss Confederation or the European Free Trade Association member states – parties of the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
2. Supervisors of organized school groups (1 supervisor per 10 children) and tour guides are entitled to a reduced fee of PLN 1.00 for the entrance to the National Maritime Museum in Gdańsk.

 

3. Charge-free entrance to the branches of the National Maritime Museum in Gdańsk is granted to:
  1. members of the International Council of Museums or the International Council on Monuments and Sites;
  2. children under 7 years of age.
4. Free admission on the “Motława” ferry is applied for the persons specified in section 3.

 

5. Entitlement to a reduced fee for the entrance to the National Maritime Museum in Gdańsk applies to holders of the following documents:
  1. a student card (school, college), a PhD student card;
  2. a pensioner card;
  3. a document certifying holder’s disability or level of disability;
  4. a document with an indication of holder’s age;
  5. any other document certifying holder’s entitlement to a reduced fee, in particular for holders specified in: a) Article 10 Section 3(a) Clauses 2, 7 and 8(b) of the Act, issued in any EU member state other than the Republic of Poland, in the Swiss Confederation or EFTA member states – Parties of the EEA Agreement, and b) Article 10 Section 3(a) Clause 8(c) of the Act.
6. Entitlement to a charge free entrance to the National Maritime Museum in Gdańsk applies to holders of the following documents:
  1. ICOM or ICOMOS Membership Card;
  2. a document with an indication of holder’s age.
7. A person entitled to a reduced fee or a charge free entrance to the NMM presents a valid document certifying holder’s entitlement to a reduced fee or a charge free entrance to the National Maritime Museum in Gdańsk along with an identity document to the Museum’s authorized staff member. Authorized staff members are responsible for the sale of entrance tickets to the Museum.

 

8. Holders of tourist cards are charged in accordance with the statutes of the cards and agreements concluded with the NMM.

 

9. The above regulations are binding for all exhibitions, objects and branches of the NMM.
