Colonial Warehouse lost to history

The Colonial Warehouse has now been closed to visitors. It used to be one of the premises of the Polish Maritime Museum, located by the already renovated Crane. Soon the demolition work will begin on the former heating plant which in the 1970s was adapted for the museum. In place of the demolished facility a modern Maritime Culture Centre will be built, a branch of the Polish Maritime Museum. The presently exhibited boat collection coming from many places in the world will be moved to the CMM storage. The branch personnel will also move out from the facility for the time of the construction. However, the neighbouring Crane will be available as always.
